Dr Shireen Tabatabai

Shireen Tabatabai graduated from Monash University with honors in 2000. Shireen completed her internship, physician training and Gastroenterology training at Monash Medical Centre. She was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2008.
​
She is currently a consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Monash Medical Centre. Shireen is also involved in clinical trials in liver disease.
​
Shireen works in private practice at Clayton and Moorabbin and performs Endoscopy in Clayton and Bayside Endoscopy Moorabbin.
​
She has admitting rights at Jessie McPherson Clayton and Cabrini Malvern.
Shireen Tabatabai’s clinical experience includes patients with liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and performing upper and lower GI endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy). She has a special interest in diseases of the liver.
Dr Debbie Nathan

Debbie Nathan graduated from Monash University with honours in 1997, and went on to complete her Gastroenterology training at Monash Medical Centre and then an Inflammatory Bowel Disease fellowship at Box Hill Hospital.
​
She was admitted to The Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2005 and has publications in several gastroenterology journals.
​
She now works as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at both Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospital in the areas of Hepatology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, also performing Fibroscan.
​
She works in private practice in Clayton where she specialises and has an interest in irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, bowel cancer screening and performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy and pill camera studies.
​
She admits to Jessie MacPherson Private Hospital and performs procedures at The Avenue Private Hospital and Masada Private Hospital.
